| The Compass Rose was built in 1999 in the traditional Bermudan style common to the Caribbean. The salt rakers of olden days on Salt Cay opened their homes to the trade winds to cool their homes. The Rose is a one bedroom, one bath home that also sports an outdoor shower. The home sleeps 4 utilizing a sofa bed in the living area and a large alcove bedroom. Enjoy the modern conveniences of home, including one of the best equipped kitchens on island, Weber grill, complete home entertainment system with DVD, Directv, VCR, stereo, CD changer and great speakers. |

Donkeys and cows roam the sandy roads and most folks drive golf carts or bicycles. Evidence of this once vibrant salt producing island is seen in the old Salinas, crumbling stone ruins and the great houses of the salt barons. |

The living space expands to the outside patio areas on three sides of the villa featuring a sun deck overlooking the beach, a sheltered patio walk around the house, a cozy breakfast patio overlooking a zen garden. |
