The Financial Services Commission recently accepted the trademark and issued the Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board with a registration certificate on May 25, 2018 for its logo (see below). The Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board wishes to advise that it views all unauthorized use of the trademarked logo very seriously as it adversely impacts the organization’s goodwill, reputation and value.
A trademark not only gives the owner of the trademark the exclusive right to use but also allows the owner of the trademark to prevent others from using a similar trademark that can lead to confusion among the general public.
Any use of the trademarked logo is strictly prohibited without proper consent in writing by the Turks and Caicos Islands Tourist Board.
