The fleet of boats has been refreshed painted and repaired, ready for you to come and take to the water! A wonderful sport and all are welcome to try their hand at racing the boats!!

This is your chance to win big!! The MCCo-op fleet of boats will be on the beach waiting for you to choose your boat and sign up for the races!

Fund raising is a big focus this year with participation as follows :

  • Adelaide Oemler Primary School PTA will be grilling burgers on the beach, and hoping for donations to the outdoor lunch area upgrade  & participation in sports events across TCI
  • Hubert James Primary School teachers will be tempting you with sweet treats and snacks, planning to use the funds for school gardens/fences – work done by kids & staff together
  • Raymond Gardiner High School will have a hut set up to offer tempting foods, with a long list of projects to continue repairing & upgrading the school facilities post hurricane
  • TCI Sailing Association runs the cash bar and those funds raised go to get our young sailors to international competitions!

The TCI Government generously supports the event –  and you might catch a glimpse of the premier racing a boat?! The Tourist Board and Department of Culture help every year to keep this traditional sport alive and many of their staff come to play for the day too! Big Blue Unlimited, TCI Ferry, AdventureScape Ltd, Forbes Realty TCI  Ltd, Middle Caicos Co-op and a strong team of volunteers all contribute together to make this event a success for all. Master of Ceremonies on the beach, David Bowen, promises a strong line up of fun and music……and new for 2019, hopefully a live band on Feb 15th on  North Caicos ?!?!?
