West Caicos

Turks & Caicos Islands

Our Islands / West Caicos

West Caicos has become a favorite for divers and the nine square mile island is uninhabited. West Caicos is a treasure trove of unique ecological and historical features, including Lake Catherine, a nature reserve that is home to a variety of bird life. The deserted island still contains the ruins of sisal crops, railroad tracks, engines and ancient stone buildings – evidence of the small civilization that once existed and thrived on the island.
