Passengers Niall O’Donnell from Dublin, and Katie Hendricks from Chicago, help launch United Airlines’ new daily service to Chicago O’Hare from Dublin. The seasonal service runs from 4 June until 24 September. Celebrating the launch on the apron are: Vincent Harrison, Dublin Airport MD; Pat Reede, United’s Sales Manager, Ireland; and Bob Schumacher, United’s MD, UK and Ireland Sales. Cutting the ribbon: Vincent Harrison and Bob Schumacher, along with the inaugural pilots.

Passengers on the first flight from Houston Intercontinental to Providenciales were given a TCI beach bag, courtesy of the Turks & Caicos Islands Tourist Board, although it seems the pilot preferred to have a Subway. Flights will operate weekly using the carrier’s 737-900s.
