As fall approaches and the holiday season looms, it’s the time of year where families begin making winter travel arrangements. Over the years, many families escape to Turks and Caicos to celebrate Thanksgiving annually and have made it their family tradition.
Entering the charming entrance of the cottage, I was greeted by a familiar, friendly face and warmth that is second nature to Caribbean natives. My early arrival briefly interrupted her picking callaloo from the gardens but she ushered me into her private deck where the magic happens.
